The Dominion Model Home at 904 Kelburn Court is coming along nicely. It has actually grown from the original plan, almost 100 more square feet, now at 2692!

The Dominion Model Home

Well, I am a day late in posting, as I said before, we'd be giving a weekly update on progress at The Dominion! We held 3 Private Preview Open House tours yesterday, along with info and a peek at the new development, so we were tied up most of the day! We had a great turn out and guests got to see some beautiful homes that are currently available in the Searcy Country Club area and gave out detailed listing information on the new home at 904 Kelburn Court, the model for The Dominion.

This beautiful home by Stevens Commercial Contractors is well under construction and if you can imagine a community AND home designed just for you, then take a look at this new listing!

This home with a Country French design, impressive detailing, and superb craftsmanship will feature a Kitchen that is a dream for anyone who loves to cook and entertain, with granite countertops, island with breakfast bar and GE Profile appliances. "The Dominion Chronicles"

As you can see, in the last week there has been quite a bit of excavating going on at The Dominion. The berms are in the process of being built up and we are quite excited about Canberra Park as we mentioned in the last post! So you may ask, what is a berm?


For centuries, berms have been used for privacy, to protect certain areas, to fortify or insulate structures, and to add spice to one's landscape. These are raised earthen areas; more recently, their popularity in gardening areas is on the rise. Surrounded with heavy timbers, stone retaining walls, or free-standing, they are an attractive means by which you can create the illusion of more topography, a more three-dimensional site, in level areas.
Gently sloped berms are great for erosion control and can be also be useful for adding eco-friendly privacy.

As of today, eleven lots, out of the 74 have already sold...this community across from the Searcy Country Club will be a popular one, offering something noone else has in the Searcy area has done.

This is the first of two homes being constructed at The Dominion...this model home is by J Stevens Builders. We'll have lots to talk about when it comes to a Stevens built home...as we've mentioned before, there are only three approved builders for this development and they are all top notch when it comes to design and quality. This model home is currently in the framing stage and we can't wait to share more with you in the upcoming weeks!

My Co-Listing partner Terri and I, have totally fallen in love with the new master-planned community, The Dominion, which is being developed across from the Searcy Country Club. A green community by Dalrymple Development, who is proactive in the efforts to protect our natural resources and is the first in Searcy to actively support the green initiative.
